Non-Violence
History
Non-Violence doesn't really have old history, only when modern days of the 1900s, non violence was one way to solve problems.In india, Mahatma Gandhi started a peaceful rebellion that successfully let the British withdraw from India. Mahatma Gandhi told everyone that to boycott peacefully is to make our their own needs, the indians started making their own products and boycott most British goods. Finally in 1947, British Withdrew.
The picture above is Gandhi, he is the person who led the Indians to freedom from the British colonial rule. Gandhi rebelled peacefully without violence and successfully freed British. To honor Gandhi and non violence, October 2(Gandhi's Birthday) is the day of International Day of Non-Violence
Non Violence in the past
King Ashoka who had a bloody battle over kalinga was depressed after seeing all the piles of dead body in the city. He then changed and was converted into buddhism and became a fair and great king.
