history
One of the edicts of Ashoka.
Made and inscribed by the third emperor of
the Mauryan Empire called Ashoka (232–268). At first the emperor was called the
Ashoka the fierce/ruthless and led to the great expansion of his empire. Than
after the Kalinga (which once resided at the east Indian coast) war he dead
bodies of the people that he killed through the war were all lying around the
ruins after the place meanwhile the bodies were rotting away with the sounds of
the prisoners mourning for the dead and that horrible scene shocked and changed
him completely to Ashoka the great, he renounced war, he changed to Buddhism,
he gave tolerance to religion, and he had placed these pillars, boulders, and
stones. The edicts inscribed on these objects are based on all of the moral
karmas that Ashoka has learned throughout his life that consisted of justice,
respect, kindness, generosity, much good, honesty, purity, the thirteenth of
his most known edicts he memorializes this battle, and it constricts his powers
as a monarch of the empire to saying that he can’t just kill anybody because he
feels like it and just wants to do it. The edicts were completed while he still
ruled as an emperor over the whole great Mauryan Empire throughout the whole
300 B.C. The edicts of Ashoka were translated by the 19th century by scholars
which was also said to been found on cave walls. There are constantly more of
his edicts being found and lately it is said that about 30-37 edicts have been
found currently. The most important writings of his edicts seem to be in the
seven pillars and the fourteen rock series. Which you can see one of them on
the left of the start of this paragraph. For more information go to one of the

Another major rock edicts of ahsoka.
The edicts of ahsoka's are a great structure. It is made out of stone and has words carved into it. It will be esoecially good if you knew how to read those languages. As seen in the first pic. above it may look boring but if you are a parent i must suggest to read a translation of the edicts of ashoka. It should be around the monument. It may be hard to undeerstand but once you do you dive into a deeper meaning. It nay help some people to lead their life. You should pack a lot of summer clothes. Since to reach this edicts you need to look around a bit. Take medicines for malaria since there is a chance that you may be bitten. Definetly a camera. Also since some of the edicts are in forests or parks take trousers since you do not want insects attacking your legs.
