Christianity
History
Jesus Christ with a liitle girl.
The Christianity religion is mainly based on the teachings and beliefs of Jesus Christ. It is one of the world's largest religions. It is practiced in all inhabited continents, especially Europe, North America and South America.
God first created the universe before He created Adam and Eve, the first two humans on Earth. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating a forbidden fruit, they were forced to leave. Later, Eve gave birth to people of all races. A while later, God was going to flood the Earth, and He told Noah to build an ark and he can bring in his family and animals. When the Earth was flooded, everyone drowned, but Noah was safe.
The Jews of Israel moved to Egypt, and lived happily there. However, when the next pharaoh came to power, he forced the Jews to become slaves. God told him not to do so, but he refused. That made Him sent in the Seven Plagues, but the pharaoh still didn't budge even when they were over. God then instructed Moses to rescue the Jews and bring them back to Israel. God opened up the Red Sea, and Moses and the Jews safely went back home. The Egyptians chased them, but drowned when the Red Sea closed.
God made a lady called Mary pregnated, and said that she must named her baby Jesus. When Jesus was born, he was known as the greatest gift of all times. However, Jesus was thought to be a traitor by some people, and later led to his crucifixion. His body was stored in a cave, but three days after his death, he came back, and then went to heaven.
Jesus is known as the founder of Christianity. Christianity later spread to all around the world. Several times the history of the religion had been disbuted, so different chains had been formed, such as Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox. The first place that has Christianity introduced to is Southern India, which was brought in by a man named St. Thomas. Later, it went to Europe, and then brought to North and South America when settlers moved there.
