History
Hinduism is a very special religion because it has no founder or no clear date of origin. People believed that it simply developed over a course of 4000 years. It is one of the oldest religions because it dates back to 2000 BC. There is no clear time when Hinduism started because it is so old that there are no writings or anything to tell us when it started. About Hinduism
Hinduism is a polytheistic religion unlike Christianity. Also Hinduism has one of the first written languages (Sanskrit). Also there are many religious holidays such as Diwali. Hinduism is mainly in South Asia. But the religion has been spread to western countries like the U.S.A. People say that Hinduism was split into many other religions like Jainism, Sihkism and Buddhism. Also They believe that all the gods are actually just different forms of the same Supreme God.
